1. Information We Collect

The only information the App handles is what you enter:

• Account names and balances
• Transaction records (amounts, categories, dates)
• Investment and savings data
• Budget and expense information
• Credit card and certificate records
• Your login credentials (username / password) — used only to authenticate with your own server

All of the above is stored exclusively on the server you configure. We do not store any of this data on our own servers.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect analytics or usage data
• We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA / GAID)
• We do not track your location
• We do not access your contacts, camera, or microphone
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party
• We do not use cookies or cross-app tracking

3. How Your Data Is Stored

Your financial data is stored on the backend server you provide during login. The security, backup, and availability of that data is entirely under your control. We strongly recommend using a server with HTTPS enabled and strong password protection.

Authentication tokens (JWT) are stored locally on your device using secure platform storage (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain) and are never transmitted to any party other than your own configured server.

4. Third-Party Services

Finewise does not integrate any third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or social login. The App does not contact any external services other than the server URL you explicitly configure.

5. Children's Privacy

Finewise is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

6. Data Deletion

Because all data is stored on your own server, you have full control over deletion. To delete your data, simply remove it from your server or uninstall the application. Uninstalling the App removes all locally cached data and authentication tokens from your device.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security practices within the App, including:

• JWT-based authentication with token expiry
• HTTPS-only communication with your server
• Secure local storage for credentials and tokens

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
